Founding Pilot Cohort
The Lounge for Teens is launching as a small founding cohort hosted in partnered community spaces, building toward a dedicated supervised youth lounge. This pilot group of 10–15 teens will help shape the culture, structure, and leadership path of the program while participating in structured, supervised sessions focused on real-life discussions, confidence building, communication skills, and peer accountability. This is the foundation of something bigger.
Leadership Development Model
Built on a leadership-first framework designed to cultivate public speaking and communication, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution skills, responsible decision-making, team collaboration, and strong character development. Teens are not passive attendees — they are active contributors, taking ownership of their growth and development every step of the way.
Supervised Community Engagement
As the program grows, The Lounge will expand into supervised after-school and weekend sessions held in a dedicated space. These gatherings will provide a safe, monitored environment with structured engagement, guided peer interaction, leadership practice opportunities, and healthy social connection. This is not unstructured free time — it is intentional community building designed to help teens grow with purpose.

Teen Ambassador & Leadership Track
Select participants may be invited to join the Teen Ambassador Program, a leadership track designed for teens ready to take on greater responsibility. Ambassadors help shape programming direction, support peer engagement, assist with event coordination, practice leadership facilitation, and represent The Lounge’s core values. This pathway prepares teens for elevated leadership roles within the organization while strengthening confidence, accountability, and service-minded leadership.
Youth Workshop Development Pathway
Long-term, The Lounge for Teens is designed to operate with teen leadership at its core. As the organization grows into a permanent facility model, qualified teens will have opportunities to serve in customer service roles, support daily operations, assist with event coordination, step into team leadership positions, gain structured work experience, and develop professional responsibility skills. The goal is to provide real-world experience within a safe, mentored environment—preparing teens for future employment, leadership roles, and meaningful community contribution. The Lounge is not just a program; it is a leadership pipeline.
Who This is For
The Lounge for Teens serves adolescents ages 13–18 who are seeking structured after-school engagement, positive peer connections, and meaningful opportunities to grow in leadership. It is designed for teens who benefit from supervised environments and are ready to take on real responsibility while developing confidence, character, and accountability.
Future Vision
The long-term vision is to establish a permanent supervised youth lounge space operated with teen leadership involvement, community partnerships, and sustainable funding.
Through structured development and mentorship, teens will not only gather — they will grow, lead, and help operate the very space that serves them.
